Autumn has got to be THE most amazing season to have a photography session with your children. That’s because the greenery turns into a kaleidoscope of colours that guarantees some beautiful images. Glasgow has fantastic parks, including Rouken Glen, Pollock Park, Maxwell Park and not forgetting Glasgow Green.  At this time of year, the trees are full of greens, browns, and golds merging with orange, red and pink hues, it’s the perfect backdrop for a family photo session. Coordinate your outfits to match the autumnal colours and layer up with some hats and scarves and get ready for a short hike in the autumn sunshine. The best time to have your session is either early when the morning mist is low or later in the afternoon during the “golden hour” when the sun is low in the sky.

Autumn leaves are the perfect props for your children to have some fun. Bag some leaves from your garden and bring them to the session, encourage your children to play amongst them. Finally, I’ll take a group picture of you all which would make the perfect image to place in a nice photo canvas or storyboard print to hang on your wall.
