Christmas Mini Sessions
We are please to announce that Santa has confirmed he’s had a good rest from last year’s exertions and he’ll be back this year to check that his naughty or nice list is up to date….
Bookings open on Sunday 1st August and always sell out fast, within a matter of hours. To catch up on what he missed out on last year Santa Claus is a particularly busy man this year, so whilst we have managed to secure one more date than usual, once the appointments have gone, no more can be added.
Check out the FAQ below for everything you need to know!
Santa Claus 2021 – When do they take place?
This year, Santa will join us on October Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd at the Dawn Martin Photography Studio!
We need time after your session to beautifully post process your images, upload them to your private gallery and allow you time to see and place your order. Digital images are available for immediate download, printed products are professionally made at our pro photo lab before dispatching them to you at home. We want to ensure you have plenty of time to enjoy your photographs in the lead up to the big day!
How long is the session?
Your appointment lasts ten minutes, longer than you’ll have with Santa Claus at a grotto, and it’s a much more magical and private experience. There’s plenty of time for your inquisitive little ones questions as well as us getting those perfect portraits that you cherish each year.
How much does it cost?
The ticket price is £10 per family and includes:
– a private meet and greet with Santa plus a little gift from the big man.
After your session you’ll receive login details to your online gallery where you can choose your complimentary image and purchase a range of products, prices start from £40
Can I bring somebody else?
The session is valid for siblings from one family only. If you wish to bring cousins/friends or anybody else, please book a session per family. If you book sessions next to each other we are happy to discuss photographing everybody both together and individually – this will depend on numbers and ages and must be arranged in advance.
Babies are welcome as always, however because these sessions are time limited, babies must be able to sit up unaided for extended periods of time by themselves.
Can I change my day or time?
All bookings are final, we have Santa Claus for a limited amount of time and generally sell out quickly, so please note, no amendments can be made to your booking.
Sold! How do I book?
If you’re on our mailing list, you’ll receive an email with a booking link. Bookings open at 8pm on Sunday 1st August to the mailing list and at 9pm to the general public – the link will go live on our Facebook page at this time.
We have a little something special this year, too! Father Christmas would like to present each child with their own, personalised ‘Nice List Certificate’ we’re sure they’ll be delighted to receive it! Be sure to click this as an add on at the time of booking.

What if I don’t want to meet Santa Claus?
Some children feel shy or overwhelmed when they meet Santa and so we have two wonderful options for you!
The first is our our Christmas Nutcracker Toy Shop session. This is perhaps my favourite festive set to date! Wrap up warm and you can take a sleigh ride in the snow, you should also bring your Christmas List to post to Santa using our famous North Pole letter box. Nutcracker Toy Shop sessions will be held on Saturday 23rd October.
The second festive offering is our ever popular Christmas Window sessions have had a makeover for 2021! Christmas Magic is a truly gorgeous, cosy Christmas Eve feel portrait. Pop those PJs on and come grab a cookie by the fire as Father Christmas flies past on his sleigh. This will be held on Sunday 24th October.
Santa’s Cosy Kitchen, The Nutcracker Toy Shop and Christmas Magic Window all follow the same pricing and go on sale at 8pm, 1st August.
Pop that reminder in your calendar now, while it’s on your mind. Fastest finger first on the evening they go on sale! We can’t wait to welcome you!
