Identical Twins!
As a Glasgow newborn photographer, working with newborn babies is such an honour and I absolutely love everything about it. Newborn photography requires a lot of hard work and patience but the end result is worth it – beautiful portraits of a brand new human being.
Baby photo shoots can take up to 2-4 hours and are all baby led, which means allowing time for feeding, changing and setting baby into a deep milky sleep. Newborn sessions can take place in my Glasgow studio or the comfort of your own home, the photography fee includes transport expenses, the time to take the photographs and the editing time, which can take up to 4 hours on its own. If you live more than 40 miles outside Glasgow, but would still like me to photograph your baby, then get in touch for a travel estimate.
On the day of your newborn session, I will supply a range of props and blankets to use as backdrops, but if you have any special sentimental items you’d like photographed with your baby, then just let me know and we can incorporate it. I encourage all new parent’s to be photographed with your baby.
For a newborn session at home all I need is a warm room with good natural window light, and a bit of space so I can move furniture around!
The best newborn photographs are taken when a baby is between day 5 – 8. I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to book your newborn photography session in advance of your due date. Booking early ensures your space in my diary during those precious first few days – it’s essential for those adorable sleepy newborn photographs.
