You can capture your blossoming bump with a graceful and feminine pregnancy photo shoot in my warm, cosy studio, or if you prefer, at an outdoor location that has some special meaning to you. It’s always a privilege to be asked to capture pregnancy portraits so when Edward and Victoria got in touch about a Bump to Baby session I was thrilled when they decided to choose me to document this special chapter in their lives. There’s always a bit of planning behind the scenes for pregnancy photography and after our initial phone consultation, Victoria decided she wanted her session to be held in my Glasgow studio. We discussed which types of outfits would be good for showing off Victoria’s bump and decided on some tasteful underwear and light, floating feminine dresses. I buy all my pregnancy outfits from Sandra and Sarah Sarah at the Newborn Baby Posing Limited. Edward was keen to be involved in the maternity session too and as you’ll see from the images they make a pretty handsome couple.

Some few weeks later little Leo made his appearance (he was late and kept us waiting of course) but what a happy little baby he was and gave us lots of smiles during his newborn session.

A week after the photo shoot, Victoria and Edward came back to the studio to view their images at their preview and ordering session. Getting to see the reaction of new parent’s viewing the images of their new baby for the first time is such an honour, and it’s not uncommon for some tears to be shed. Edward chose a large framed portrait of Victoria along with a large framed family picture. Because they both loved the images so much they also chose the fine art linen album with matching USB containing all the digital files from both the Bump and Baby session.
