My dog photography sessions are held at my studio in my Glasgow Photography Studio, where the atmosphere is relaxed, with plenty of space and is tailored to bring out the best in your pets.

During your session, I can also include portraits of children and the whole family to create a complete collection of memories.

When to Book Your Dog’s Photography Session

Choosing the perfect time for your pet photography session depends on your goals and your dog’s personality. Here are some tips to help you decide:

For Puppies
Book early! The first few months are ideal for capturing their tiny features, playful energy, and adorable antics.

Anytime is a great time! Adult pets are often more settled, making it easier to showcase their unique personality and calm nature.

For Senior Dogs
If your pet is older or has health concerns, book as soon as possible to create cherished memories while they’re still active and comfortable.

Seasonal Preferences
Love outdoor photos? Spring and autumn are fantastic choices for mild weather and stunning natural backdrops.

Special Occasions
Celebrate milestones like adoption anniversaries, birthdays, or holidays with a dedicated dog photography session.

STEP 1 – CONSULTATION

Ready to book your session? Get in touch, and we’ll begin with a consultation at your home, my Glasgow studio, or your local coffee shop. This is a no-cost, no-obligation consultation—just a 30-minute meeting to chat about you and your pet, your style, your ideas, the type of photography you love, preferred locations, your budget, and we’ll come up with a plan to capture everything that matters to you. After that, we’ll select a suitable date, and we’ll be all set to schedule your session.

STEP 2 – THE PHOTO SHOOT

This is the day of your portrait session! All the planning we discussed during the consultation comes together, and we’re ready to get started. Prepare for a fun, relaxed experience and get ready to be amazed by the results!

STEP 3 – PREVIEW & ORDERING SESSION

Around 5-7 days after your session, you’ll return to the studio where I’ll present your stunning portraits on the large screen. This will be the first time you’ll see your photographs, so be prepared—grab some tissues, as you’re likely to be moved by the beauty of these images (don’t worry, it happens all the time!).

This will be our final meeting, where I’ll present around 20 edited images for you to choose from. Together, we’ll narrow it down to your absolute favourite portraits. All decisions regarding your portrait order will be made during this session. The preview and ordering session typically takes about 1 hour, where I’ll help you select the perfect pieces for your home. There’s no pressure to make decisions quickly; everything is tailored to fit your budget.

Around 2-3 weeks later, you’ll return to collect your order, and it will be time to proudly display your beautiful family portraits as premium artwork in your home.
