Cake Smash Glasgow – Congratulations—your baby is turning one! It’s been a year full of changes, challenges, and incredible milestones, and now it’s time to celebrate this special moment.
Our Cake Smash & Splash session is all about having fun and creating adorable memories. We’ll start by capturing some sweet portraits of your little one (and a family photo if you’d like) before the real fun begins.
Your baby will have a blast smashing their cake, and we’ll finish with a splash session—a bubbly bath to clean up and capture even more delightful moments.
Every session is tailored to your baby’s mood and participation on the day, ensuring we make the experience as enjoyable as possible.
After your session, you’ll be invited back to the studio within one to two weeks to view a gallery of around 20 beautifully edited images. At this point, you can decide which package suits you best.

Furthermore, if you’re not completely happy with your final gallery, you’ll receive a full refund, and the shoot will have cost you nothing.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU BOOK A CAKE SMASH GLASGOW?
STEP 1 – The booking
Get in touch using the contact form or alternative book directing using the Book Now button. We will arrange the date for the cake smash Glasgow. We’ll also discuss which outfits to wear to the photoshoot.
STEP 2 – THE PHOTO SHOOT
This is the day of the portrait session. All of the planning we made during our initial consultation is pulled together.
The Cake Smash Photoshoot starts with a Mini Family Photoshoot.
Then it’s the Cake Smash and finally a splash photoshoot in a roll-top bath tub.
STEP 3 – PREVIEW & ORDERING SESSION
About 5-7 days after your session, you’ll return to the studio for your portrait reveal on the large screen—prepare for some tears, these beautiful images often bring that out!
During this final meeting, we’ll go through around 20 edited photos, narrowing them down to your favourites.
All decisions for your portrait order are made here.
The preview and ordering session takes about an hour, with no pressure on sales—everything is tailored to your budget.
Then, about 2-3 weeks later, you’ll return to collect your order and proudly display your portraits at home.

How much does a baby session cost?

How much are the photographs?
Packages start from £199.
What to bring?
Please bring a change of outfits, a few of your child’s favourite toys and some snacks to keep baby happy. Also, bring a towel to dry baby after the splash session.
What if I need to cancel?
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. However i do understand that babies and children are prone to catching colds or becoming ill suddenly. I’ll do everything i can to reschedule your appointment to another day.
What happens after the session?
5-7 days after your session I will invite you back to the studio for a Preview and Ordering session. Your gallery will contain around 20 fully retouched images to view and I will help you decide on your favourites. Most of my clients value stunning artwork to hang on their wall, so each image has been edited and designed as a main focus piece. Take note that it is during this Preview and Ordering session that you will order and pay for any products, prints and packages. All major debit and credit cards are accepted.
