When should I book my Newborn Photoshoot Glasgow?
Ideally, newborn photography is best within the first three weeks. However, I have successfully captured stunning images of older newborns and premature infants as well.
Additionally, if you are breastfeeding, I recommend waiting later to avoid cluster feeding.
On the other hand, for formula-fed babies, sessions can be scheduled around days eight to twelve.
Most importantly, my schedule is quite flexible. So, if your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, we can easily adjust your session date to ensure the perfect timing.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT?
All newborn sessions take place in my cosy, fully equipped studio in Glasgow, where everything is ready to create stunning portraits of your precious new arrival. I have a lovely collection of handmade outfits for you to choose from, along with a wide range of props and backdrops—so all you need to bring is your baby!
Sessions typically last between 2 and 4 hours, depending entirely on your little one. This allows plenty of time for feeding, cuddling, and settling, so we can work at your baby’s pace.
Before your session, we’ll chat about your preferred colours and styling. That way, when you arrive, I’ll have a series of carefully prepared setups waiting, designed with your tastes in mind and ready to capture beautiful memories from the very beginning.

Your newborn photoshoot is held within the first 14 days while your baby is sleepy and can be posed in all the cute poses.

How long does a newborn photoshoot take?
To ensure a stress-free experience, I book only one newborn photoshoot per day. This means you have my full attention, and your baby can take all the time they need, without any rush or time limits. As a result, the entire day is dedicated to your session, allowing you to relax without any time pressure.

I always encourage parents and siblings to be part of the newborn photoshoot—it’s such a special time for the whole family, and these early days pass so quickly. Including a few relaxed family and sibling shots adds a lovely personal touch to your gallery and helps tell the full story of your baby’s arrival. Do I need to bring props to the newborn photoshoot Glasgow?
There’s no need to buy outfits or worry about what to bring—everything is taken care of for you. I provide all the wraps, headbands, hats, props, and outfits needed for the session. Additionally, my collection of carefully chosen props and materials from the very best vendors ensures that your images are timeless and beautifully styled.

When do I pay for the newborn photoshoot Glasgow session?
You only pay for your package after you’ve seen your images! While many newborn photographers ask for payment upfront, I take a different approach. Instead, you’ll return to the studio 1–2 weeks later, at a time that suits you, to view your images. This makes it much easier to decide what works best for you, as you can carefully consider your options.
I love all the photographs, what should I do?
It’s hard to leave with just one image from your baby’s session. Therefore, if you’re wondering about additional prints, packages, wall art, and more, prices start at £199.
However, there’s no need to make a decision right away. After viewing your images and returning for your session, you can choose what works best for you.
Additionally, easy payment plans are available to make the process even more convenient.

When should you book your newborn photoshoot?
Within the first 3 weeks. The ideal time is between day 8 and 14.
What if I need to cancel?
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. However i do understand that babies and children are prone to catching colds or becoming ill suddenly. I’ll do everything i can to reschedule your appointment to another day.
What happens after the session?
5-7 days after your session I will invite you back to the studio for a Preview and Ordering session. Your gallery will contain around 20 fully retouched images to view and I will help you decide on your favourites. Most of my clients value stunning artwork to hang on their wall, so each image has been edited and designed as a main focus piece. Take note that it is during this Preview and Ordering session that you will order and pay for any products, prints and packages. All major debit and credit cards are accepted.
