Welcome to the world baby Poppy!
I had this scrumptious, 8-day old newborn girl in my Glasgow studio for her first photo shoot. She is THE perfect gift and her mummy and daddy were beaming with happiness.
When the family first got in touch with me I offered them a choice of colours as a theme for their newborn session, they decided on a mix of both girly pink, deep coral and some neutral grey, brown and cream props which would blend with their home decor. Combining these colours will give the family some beautiful, simple, timeless images that will be cherished for generations to come!
I like to keep the props simple, a vintage drawer, my favourite wooden bed and a little chair, which every baby loves and never fails to fall asleep in.
Poppy loved being swaddled for the first half of her newborn session and she slept deeply though out the entire photoshoot including the beanbag shots. She was the perfect little lady.
After the photo session, the family came back to visit the studio for their preview and ordering session to view the images of Poppy on the big screen. This is the part I love best, seeing the reaction of parent’s when they view the images for the first time. Poppy was so perfect in each image that Mum and Dad couldn’t leave any images behind and decided to invest in the Heirloom Print Box containing 20 beautifully mounted prints along with the full gallery of high-resolution digital files.
